March 2011
- The Photography Collective are exhibiting work at the International Derby Format Festival. They will be showcasing new work with other Collectives from around the world as part of the Collectives Encounter from 4 March - 3 April 2011. Jaskirt is a member of The Photography Collective.
- New work on Women's Football will be exhibited at Manchester's People Museum as part of: 'Moving the Goal Posts. The History of Women's Football in Britain.' This will be showing from 5 March - 15 May 2011.
January 2011
- Photographing work for the Collectives Encounter and History of Women's football exhibition.
- Jaskirt's video 12.15 to 12.45 is from the first shoot with The Photography Collective exploring the idea of the flaneur. The Photography Collective are working towards a final video piece to use Collectives Encounter at the 2011 Derby Format Festival.
November 2010
- The Grand Dance photographs will be exhibited at The Birmingham Town Hall on Saturday 6th November, as part of the MAC Arts Champion showcase.
- Bearwood work exhibited at The Public Art Gallery as part of 'Show me a secret' based on Sandwell, which will show alongside Black Country Stories by Martin Parr.
The exhibition runs from Thursday 11 November 2010 to Sunday 23 January 2011; Wednesday to Sunday, 10am – 6pm.

- My photographs of Neeta and Niraj Chag from the British Asian Musicians body of work, are published in a V&A publication: British Asian Style: Fashion and Textile, Past and Present , you can pre-order the book from Amazon or buy it from shops from the 18 October.
- Working with MAC (Midlands Art Centre) taking photographs and documenting the Al Bowllys Croon Manifesto. With a future exhibition planned too, more details on that when I know it.
September 2010
- I will be taking part in the Fierce interrobang in the Black Country, specifically at Live Art Speed Date on Saturday 25 September at Wednesbury Town Hall. Here I will be taking portraits of speed daters! For more details click here: www.wearefierce.org
- Contact exhibition from 3 - 18 Sept at the Rhubarb East Galery, Digbeth. It's a collaboration between Birmingham Photospace and The Photography Collective, which Jaskirt is a part of. Come to the Cakes and Creativity event on Thursday 9th Sept from 6.30pm where we celebrate the Midlands art scene and you can find out more on the exhibition.
July 2010
- Mosiac lead artist in mentoring young people for the first Mosaic West Midlands' annual celebration dinner at the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and Birmingham Council House. HRH Princess Badiya bint El Hassan was the guest of honour.

- New York City: June 18th - June 25th at Cinema Village.
- Los Angeles: June 18th - June 20th at American Cinemateque's Egyptian theatre.
- Boston: June 25th - July 2nd at the Sommerville theatre.
- From the 24-27th June, Jaskirt will be showcasing new work at the Warwick Arts Centre as part of the Fierce Interrobang. Jaskirt will be showcasing her Birmingham Is... work.
- Exhibition of British Asian Musicians body of work at the New Arts Exchange in Nottingham from 4 June - 3 July 2010.
- Jaskirt is exhibiting her work on Women's Football as part of a larger football exhibition called 'State of Play' at the Public Art Gallery, West Bromwich. Photographs from the Private View can be seen here

- Protesting in London against the BBC proposed changes to Asian Network. All photographs by myself, music by Tigerstyle and Shizzio.
April 2010
- Jaskirt has been selected to work with Fierce on the Platinum 2010 project, and will be working on and developing her practice. This includes an Interrobang at Warwick Arts Centre.
- Jaskirt has been selected to do an artist residency at the new mac (Midlands Art Centre) in Birmingham during April. She will be producing new work about Birmingham, developing and challenging her practice.
- This is a video she made whilst on the residency, it is still a work in progress. To see more go to the mac labs gallery in the portfolio section.

- featured in the Autumn issue of Asiana Magazine, out now. However the magazine does say I have a new book out - just to be clear - I don't! I hope in the near future though.
- I am featured in the BirminStrong exhibition. To celebrate Black History month The Drum Arts centre have commissioned Damian Brown to photograph 60 Birmingham artists, the show ends 4th December (address below).

- Wed 8 July: Private view at The Drum Arts Centre, for the exhibition of British Asian musicians. Including 6 live performances.

- Working with Craftspace, documenting Birmingham's Bangladeshi community learning how to use Pfaff sewing machines, developing their self confidence, English language skills and engaging with people of different cultures and backgrounds to their own.
April 2009
- Received funding from the Arts Council England for her work on British Asian musicians, to be exhibited at The Drum in Birmingham, throughout July & August 2009.
- Group exhibition with Bedroom Genius at Keylight Studios in London. The theme is 'Life in motion' and two of Jaskirt's portraits from her 'Bearwood' body of work were on display.
- Taking photographs of Sikh Vaisakhi event 'Nishan Sahib' for BBC Asian Network's website.
