"At And'Art I made paintings and drawings and met many amazing international artists. I currently teach art and English in Marrakesh and make my artwork at my studio here.
And'Art meant finally meeting a group of artists all in one place and collaborating in creative projects and discussions. I had yet to experience this in Morocco. It was also my first time showing my work to the general public in Morocco. The feedback and support was amazing and I am still processing it all. I can't wait to do it again next year.
My favourite part of Tangier was the open courtyard area near Cinema Rif and the doors to the Medina. It was a beautiful scene with interesting architecture from different periods of Tangier's history and it was a cross section of daily life in Tangier where artists, street people, mothers, children, street vendors, and anyone else you could imagine walked by.
