And'Art (Views)

"At And'Art I made both a collaborative and individual sculpture and I am an artist back home, in London.
I usually work with materials such as glass, alabaster and wood and would begin my creative process in conversation with these materials. Having none of these at my disposal in Morocco, I had to enter into a dialogue with everything around me.
What I found most interesting is that my practice did not change, my interests remained and were just as strong. So my conclusion is that my material choices are purely aesthetic and very much connected to my idea of art and beauty.
Personally I met a great bunch of people and my favourite part of And’Art was the Moroccans, the beautiful intelligent people."
