"At And'Art I performed on saxophone and flute as part of 'the band' and at home I work as a freelance musician.

For me And'Art represented the opportunity to travel to, work in and generally absorb a culture and environment that was completely new to me.

From a musical point of view, the musicians had the chance to work with new faces, each bringing their own histories, tastes and practices to the table and finding ways to work together on producing new material. Within this musical part of the project, we also worked on two seperate musical entities, effectively the first and second halves of our final concert. This provided ample space and freedom to work within these seperate environments with each of us bringing our own ideas and experience to bear. I think the end results speak for themselves."
