Sujathi
Satsangi are a rock band tinged with tripped out Eastern experimental pysch, and Sujathi Menon is the lead singer. They supported The Kills on tour in 2008, were featured in India’s Rolling Stone magazine May 2009 and are currently working on their new album ‘No Shoes in Satsang Hall’.
She says: "It started when downstairs mother was singing classical Indian ragas, upstairs I was listening to Led Zeppelin wondering what it would sound like if Kishri Amonkar sang with the B-52's..."
