Bearwood

This Body of work focuses on people from Bearwood, a small town in Sandwell, just outside the Birmingham area. It explores the idea of community any what ties individuals to place.

All the following people have been photographed in specific places within Bearwood which had significance to them, such as Kay in the Woods because thats where she's found clarity of mind for a long time, and Jasbir outside her cornershop which she fnds is the centre of the community for her in Bearwood.

However a lot of other people photographed for this series believed the notion of community has disappeared.
